This is a replacement for 2 stroke V6 150-200 HP 2.6 liter standard rotation Yamaha outboard lower units from 1984-current with a 2.0 gear ratio, and a 20" driveshaft. This is a brand new unit manufactured by SEI and it comes with a 3 year no-fault warranty. **DISCLAIMER: We are transitioning to the color BLACK for our units. Until inventory has been depleted of the old color, we can’t guarantee what color will be received.**

General Information
SEI Marine Products uses FedEx Ground, FedEx 2-Day, and FedEx Priority Overnight for orders within the United States. Extra charges apply to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam and SP.
Combine orders and save on shipping! For all Domestic and International customers, please request an invoice at check out if you are ordering multiple items. Due to different items with different weights, we ask that you request an invoice for the correct shipping total. You will receive an invoice via eBay after items are combined with the correct total.
Multiple items may arrive in separate packages. All shipments will have a tracking number emailed to the email address that you have provided us and will be traceable through the shipping company's web site. If you have any questions regarding shipping or our policy feel free to contact the customer service department through eBay.
Domestic Shipping
Alaska and Hawaii customers, your items will ship out via FedEx 2-Day. Please inquire before purchasing on rates and transit times.
**All packages shipped within the state of Florida will be charged a 7% sales tax. **
International Shipping
We ship items internationally via FedEx International Economy. Please request an invoice at check-out so that we can select the correct shipping amount and method. If for some reason there is a miscalculation in the shipping cost we will have to collect the money via paypal before the item(s) are shipped out.
SEI Marine Products will not be fraudulent on any customs forms, so please do not ask. We only put the true value of the items in the box. We do not pay for any international customs fees or duties.
We cannot issue return call tags for international customers. Please ensure you are purchasing the correct items before completing your check out . All returned items for international customers will be shipped at the customers expense. If you have purchased the wrong item and need to return you will not be refunded your original shipping money.
If a package is returned to us for non-receipt, you will be refunded minus the shipping costs. If you would like the package resent to you, there will be another shipping charge.

This is not always the case and sometimes you get the wrong item whether it is not what you thought, or it is the wrong part for your application. SEI Marine Products will gladly accept your return within 60 days for items that are in new, sellable condition and have not been installed. Send us a note through eBay for a return authorization (RA) number and return instructions.
General Information for Selecting a SEI 416 or 418 Replacement Gearcase
SEI 416/418 gearcases replace Yamaha 2.6 liter V6 two stroke gearcases from 1984 to present.
SEI 416/418 gearcases replace Yamaha 4 cylinder, four stroke 150 hp gearcases 2004 to present.
Two stroke = 150 through 225 horsepower
Four stroke = 150 horsepower only.
SEI 416 gearcases are standard rotation. SEI 418 gearcases are counter rotation.
Available in 20? and 25″ transom models. See picture below for help in determining which length you need.
4-3/4″ bullet diameter.
SEI 4416/418 gearcases come with a complete water pump installed.
Does not include the trim tab or pitot fitting.
1.86:1 and 2:1 gear ratios are available. 14/26 teeth on 1.86:1. 14/28 teeth on 2:1.
Shipped without gearlube.
Counter Rotation Identification
If you have a twin engine boat, you may have a counter rotation unit on the port side.
The easiest way is to confirm that is to look at the prop. If the direction of the blades are the same on both props then they are both standard rotation. If the direction of the blades are different then you have a counter rotation on the port side.
If you currently have two standard rotation drives you can upgrade the port side to be counter rotating. You will need to get a prop that is opposite rotation. If you are lucky you can buy the exact same prop, only LH rotation. If they do not make it, you will need to buy two new props, one LH and one RH. You don't want to put two different style props on the boat.
