The 3mm thickened lower plate will withstand damage from rocks, debris and ramp dragging. The Skeg Guard conforms to your lower unit ensuring no discernible drag or compromise in performance. In addition, a drain hole prevents water from collecting and becoming stagnant.
Secured with self-locking hardware, installation takes less than 10 minutes. If you're replacing an already broken skeg, the Skeg Guard can be installed with as little as 2 inches of skeg remaining.
