This is a used 380803 propshaft, but in perfect condition.
There are no defects....
This shaft is as close as it gets to being new!
The original OMC part number going back to 1958 was 305407 with superseding numbers being 311062, 3
78605, 377869, and finally to 380803.
If your engine calls for any of the above  part numbers, this propshaft fits your engine.
This propshaft is known to fit the following Evinrude & Johnson engines.

NOTE: This propshaft does not have the hole in the center of the shifter dog splines that came into being with the 1965 V4 standard lower unit models. If you absolutely need the spring loaded shifter dog indent setup, do not consider purchasing this propshaft.

I've inspected this propshaft thoroughly and found it to be perfectly straight and true as it should be.
The bearing and gear surfaces are perfect as are the shifter dog splines.
The last list price I've seen on this propshaft was approximately 3.95. However it has been unavailable for purchase from the marine dealerships for some time.
