Description
I bought this as a torn down project form a guy recently. He told me it had been in a 1957 ChrisCraft boat. It is a Grey Marine Phantom Six 112 according to the trans tag. The tag also is stamped with the D8038 (I believe this identifies year). He had torn it down (intending a rebuild) years ago. I took a general inventory the only things I can see aren't here are a valve spring upper collar and one retainer. The block has some problems due to corrosion. I assume Cylinder Sleeves, Valve Seats and maybe the Block Surfaced. It comes with it's Oil Pan, Dip Stick, Pick Up, Pump, Crankshaft, Main Bearing Caps, Main Seal Retainer, Camshaft, Twelve Lifters, Twelve Valves, Twelve Valve Springs, ELEVEN valve spring Collars, TWENTYTHREE valve spring retainers, Six Connecting Rods, Six Rod Caps, Six Pistons (attached), One Cylinder Head, One Front Housing, Flywheel, Generator, Dive attachment Shaft, Starter (two I don't know which is correct), Rear Housing, Transmission (appears complete but I don't know), Oil Breather/ Filler Neck, Distributor, Exhaust Manifold, Intake Manifold There is a crack in the coupling part on top, (JB Weld? or find a refill) Two Zenith Carburetors (9685A's with tags). Tandem Linkage, and Air Cleaners (they are dented; damaged). The Transmission has a Factory Tag Grey Marine Phantom Six 112 D8038 The Block has a casting Number F600A496P. There is also a coffee can of bolts (hard to know if any have been lost but I expect this is most of them). I have a Grey for my Cracker Box. I've decided I don't need another one. I couldn't pass it up because they don't come up very often. It is Heavy. I can put it on a pallet for freight pick up or possibly to a YRC Trucking (about 60Mi Round trip from here). Freight won't be cheep but I won't pad it. I would prefer local pick up but...Just to be clear These are Used Parts; I do not know what is useable and what is not. Being Sold Used and As/Is
